Washington, D.C.- Rep. Tom Osborne will be the closing keynote
speaker at an agriculture conference Osborne is hosting in North
Platte, "Ag Opportunity for Prosperity: How You Can Be in the
Driver's Seat!" The conference will be located in the McDonald-Belton
Theatre on Monday, January 17, 2005, from 9:00 A.M. - 3:45 P.M.
Various speakers scheduled to participate will discuss ways in which
farmers and ranchers in the Third District can strengthen and diversify
their daily operations and add wealth to Nebraska's economy.
The conference is free and the public and media are encouraged
to attend. Pre-registration is recommended. To register or to receive
