Attention Irrigators: Flow Meter Repairs

Curtis – The Middle Republican NRD meter maintenance program is nearing completion for 2005. As part of this service, Tri-City Meters and District technicians have recorded ground water meter readings and made note of any meters needing repairs. Meters requiring repair will be picked up by the NRD beginning December 12, repaired at the NRD office, and then returned.

If your flow meter is found to need repairs, you will be receiving a postcard from the NRD office with detailed information. The NRD will send you an invoice listing the parts used in that meter and the related charges. You will be charged for parts only.

If you would prefer to have someone other than the NRD repair your meter, please notify the NRD office in Curtis prior to December 12.

In addition, the NRD office has been receiving calls from irrigators asking for meter usage reports. Please note that usage reports will be sent as soon as all readings have been processed, hopefully by the year’s end.
