Loess Canyon Rangeland Tour
(Southeast Lincoln County)

(Anyone is welcome to attend, but only those who RSVP are guaranteed
a meal at the end of the tour)
Topics include:
· Cedar Tree Control
· Noxious Weed Awareness and Control
· Determination of Pasture stocking rates and use
· Identification of important rangeland grasses.
· Become acquainted with a local landowner conservation organization.
Location: Syd Kite farm
From Brady I-80 exit: South 3 miles, east 1 mile, south 1 mile, east 3
miles, south 1 mile to Palmer Rd, brick ranch-style home on left.
From Gothenburg I-80 exit: South past Platte River to first oiled county
road and go 5 miles west, 1 mile north, west 2 miles, north ¾ miles,
house is on right.
