The Middle Republican Natural Resources District is responsible
for the protection of the natural resources
and assists landowners in planning, funding,
and applying conservation practices.

Educator Scholarship

Applications are accepted each year between March 1 and June 1.

Guidelines & Application

Scholarships are available to district educators who are interested in continuing education in a natural resources or agriculture related field. Two scholarships are available district-wide, each worth $150.

ELIGIBILITY – To be eligible, an applicant must satisfy the following requirements:

  1. Must teach at a school that is either a) located in the Middle Republican NRD or b) whose school population includes a significant portion of students who reside in the Middle Republican NRD
  2. Must attend workshops dealing with natural resources topics.

How Do I Apply For This Scholarship?

Simply fill out the online scholarship application below and send a copy of your camp application to:

Or call (800) 873-5613 to request a copy of the application. Fill it out and return it to the MRNRD office with your statement and a copy of your grades or transcripts. We will also be in touch with the registration office at your college to verify that you have registered and have a financial aid application on file.
