Summer Camp Scholarship

Guidelines & Application

Two scholarships from each of the five counties in the MRNRD is available each year. Scholarship amount is equal to the camp registration fee.

ELIGIBILITY – To be eligible, an applicant must satisfy the following requirements:

1. Must be a resident of the Middle Republican NRD.
2. Must attend a school that is either a) located in the Middle Republican NRD or b) whose school population includes a significant portion of students who reside in the Middle Republican NRD
3. Must qualify for all the guidelines outlined in the camp application,
4. Must attend camps or workshops dealing with natural resources topics. Pre-approved camps include the Nebraska Range Youth Camp or the Adventure Camp about the Environment. Other natural resources camps qualify pending the approval of the MRNRD Board of Directors.
