Summary: Johnson passed around the video created by Red Thread & that high tech meetings are planned for February 22 and 23, NCORPE had an update on the bills from the harvesting loss, Landowners for a common purpose submitted letter and other correspondence associated from their attorney, Welfleet advisory committee decided to have BSB remove the trees off the face of the dam for &7500.00, and a request was made to move the meetings to morning and will be put on the next meeting agenda

Summary: accepted the audit report, changed policy on paying past due bills, NRCS noted that there will by a lot of tree plans this year so they will be out working ahead to get everything done, Johnson gave the board the contract for red thread and explained what they will be doing and then there was a motion to approve working with them up to a value, motion was made to request NCORPE Board to provide the MRNRD board with a formal plan on how they intend to effectively manage the land and that plan should be received within 90 days, there was a motion to approve the staff the work with Se

Summary: NRCS went over the deadlines for conservation practice sign up, NNRC reported on the scoring of the WSF Funding, Johnson has been reading meters in Frontier Co and attending meetings on with Ricketts and DNR on the preliminary forecast meeting, DNR has stated that it would be a compact call year but that no management actions would be required, NCORPE reported that the audit is coming along but they are still waiting on some more information and that it was decided to go back to every other month for meetings, Land Owners for a Common Purpose handed out materials and let their part

Summary: Bob Meyer went over the audit in detail and answered questions of the board, Land Owners for a Common Purpose attended the meeting and asked to be put on the next months agenda for the regular meeting as well as requested that our attorney write an opinion letter on the subject of selling NCORPE lands, NRCS reported that they have planting for about 35,000 shrubs this year and the the engineers are out doing surveys on P2 now and that the range judging went very well and their was about 232 kids that participated, NARD hired a new lobbyist, NNCS is currently grading applications fo

Summary: The purpose of this hearing is to receive support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations of taxpayers relating to the purposed budget of the Middle republican NRD.  This is in accordance with §13-501 to §13-512 , and Manager Jack Russell presented the proposed budget.  The proposed budget of disbursements and transfers of $7,200,089.00 and a cash reserve of $271,336.55.  The property tax requirement is $1,305,485.00.  This would result in a proposed tax rate of .031020.  The proposed occupation tax rate for this budget is $10.00
