The Middle Republican Natural Resources District (MRNRD) voted to change the number of board members and move voting district boundaries due to the change in the 2020 Census and the ability to get to the near 1:1 voting.

They discussed several options and voted to move from 13 board members to 11 board members.  They will be nominated and voted on by districts within the MRNRD.  Please check out the maps for the new districts.

5th Generation IMP Order

Friday, August 27, 2021

An IMP is jointly developed and adopted by NeDNR and an NRD for integrated surface water and groundwater management within the NRD. This IMP between NeDNR and MRNRD is required under Neb. Rev. Stat. § 46-715 (1)(a). The entirety of MRNRD was determined to be fully appropriated on July 16, 2004, under the requirements of LB962 Laws 2004, Sec. 60 (3)(b). Under this legislation, areas for which NeDNR had previously determined a joint action plan was necessary, under prior law, were designated as fully appropriated as of the operative date of LB962 (2004).
